Sourcing & Operations Manager – Gadgets MarketPlace StartUp Company
An early-stage startup (pre-Series A), specialized
in gadgets is
currently seeking for the following position:
Sourcing
& Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, Coach & Supervise a
network of partner resellers in the gadget industry, including multiple
independent retail stores and large industry players (wholesalers, brands,
manufacturers, repair centers, etc.)
- Secure access to an inventory of pre-loved
gadget (all brands, multiple models), negotiate competitive pricing, and consolidate
inventory management with key partners
- Oversee the quality control
process for all products and the testing of pre-loved smartphones, using a
high-quality specialized software
- Fulfill customers orders in
liaison with partner resellers, coordinate and oversee the logistics,
invoicing, and vendors payment processes
- Define, improve, and rigorously
applies operational processes
- Manage one direct report (Quality
Control & Logistics assistant) to start, and more people in the future
as the business expands
Requirements:

Education:
o 4+ years of study in a technical field (electronics/IT, computer
sciences etc.)
o Graduate from a leading Indonesian University
·
Experience:
o 4+ years of experience in the gadget industry in a sourcing/sales
role: you have a deep understanding of the industry structure, you know the key
players, have a wide industry network, and know where and how to secure access
to high quality pre-loved gadget
o You are a leader with a first management experience and have the
desire, energy, and capability to grow with the business and help scale a
promising startup. You lead by example and know how to get the best out of your
team. You are an over-achiever who is not afraid to dive into the trenches to
get things done.
o Previous work experience at a startup business a plus.

o You are extremely well organized, strategic, have a strong ability
to execute and a solid discipline to enforce operational processes
o Hard-working, reliable, independent, creative, honest, and
trustworthy
o Good interpersonal skills
o You believe in a culture of transparency, performance, and
operational excellence
o Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets – data analysis skills a plus
o Must be able to communicate in English (very good/advanced level)
