A JV coal mining in Vietnam which is part of Indonesian large group of companies, is currently seeking for:

General Manager Coal Mining
based in Vietnam
Reports to the CEO

JOB DESCRIPTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direction and ensure execution of the company vision and strategic objectives and achievements of expected results
Develop, present and implement a business strategy for the Mine in line with the Strategy and business plans
Implement continuous improvement initiatives, projects and processes towards ensuring focused business growth and alignment with international standards / practices.
Manage and control budget (Opex & Capex) by authorizing costs and monitoring expenditures
Ensure an effective methodology of business operations, communications and control whereby statutory compliance and appropriate mitigation of risk is achieved
Create awareness and assume responsibility for SHEQ practices of the mine
Planning risk requirements and priorities within the Business
Managing legal compliance on the Business Area.
Ensure efficient customer service and professional communication when liaising with customers, service providers as well as the local community
Co-ordinating a spirit of co-operation regarding safety within the Business.


REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years Senior Managerial experience.
Minimum of 10 years mining experience.
Business Understanding.
Ability to communicate, motivate and build relationships at all levels in the organization.
High energy levels and assertive personality.
A pro-active management style and be able to manage a multi-disciplinary teams.
Indonesian citizen
